CV

Profile
I am currently a second year student studying Writing Fashion and Culture at Southampton Solent University. I have extensive experience working in retail and with the general public, working my way up from Sales Advisor to Assistant Manager. Prior to starting my degree I went on a travelling trip for five months visiting Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I did this trip on my own which gave me great independence and confidence in life. I am hardworking and enjoy having a goal to work towards and achieve. I can work individually as well as participating in a group.

Previous Work
Monsoon/Accessorize – October 2006 December 2010.
I have a strong background at Monsoon/Accessorize starting as a Sales Assistant when I was 16 working up through the ranks to Floor Manager. I officially left in March 2009 to go travelling, and since then have returned as a temp during summer and Christmas break with a managerial role. During summer 2010 I took on the role of Assistant Manager.
I’ve also worked at Southampton Accessorize during my first term at University.

Phase Eight – December 2010.
During my Christmas break I worked at Phase Eight as a casual worker. My old boss at Monsoon rang me and asked if I would be interested. When I would have days off from Monsoon I would work at Phase Eight. It was a great experience and nice to work at a different store with a different clientele.
